First, find your mp3 file. Check your "downloads" folder.
Drag it to the iTunes icon on your desktop.
Open iTunes. Search your music library for your file.
It should be automatically converted to iTunes format.
Since it is an mp3 file, iTunes may not recognize the artist or the name of song.
To add correct artist, title, album, and artwork, select the song and go to
"File" then "Get Info."
Type in the correct info. For album art, go on Google Images and search the
album. (Example: brand new eyes paramore.)
If it is from a new artist, check their website.
Click on the correct image--the larger the image, the better.
Save the image to your computer.
On windows, press the "alt" key, then go to "File" and "Save As."
Save to your Images library.
Go back to iTunes, and click on "Album Art" (or something along those lines.)
Find the image you saved, and add it.
Double-check to make sure all the information is typed in correctly.
Then plug in your device, and drag the song to your device.
And there you have it. Your song should appear on your iPod in your music library along with all your other music.
