1. Best Free Game--Temple Run. This app is a must. It is completely free, and no upgrades need to be purchased. Basically you run through a temple, collecting coins, which can be used to buy "powerups" later. It is fun, addicting, and 3D! And not the cheap, pixelated 3D--no, this app has the best graphics ever, hands down! PLUS IT'S FREE! Not many apps in the appstore are this good. Not even the ones you have to pay for. Get this app! It is a must-have!
2--Best Paid Games--You might have to pay for these apps, but they are still awesome! First off, we have the very famous Angry Birds--it is cheap in price but not in graphics, and you are basically guaranteed to become addicted. Will keep you entertained for hours! Also we have the amazing Doodle Jump--pick from a variety of themes, and jump your way to the top, dodging monsters, lazers, and other obstacles along the way!
3. Best Photo Editing--Awesome Camera. Yeah, it lives up to its name.
4. Best Coloring--Draw Something is a fun coloring game, and this app, Colorbox, is good for practice. There is a free version availible and a better paid version, as well. If you ae not into drawing, though, you might get bored of this app. For artists like me, this is one of the best drawing apps ever, made even better if you make a stylus (click here) with endless possibilities!
5. Best Home Screens--If you're looking for a unique home screen, look no further than this app, HSD (Home Screen Designer.) There is also a Christmas version of it! Supply your own pictures of pick from HSD's image library. Then add frames for your apps, shelves, and a colorful dock. The app itself is free, but you might want to purchase some of the upgrades. When you're done, save the background to your camera roll and save it as your wallpaper! The apps will fit perfectly in the frames and on the shelves!
6. Best Music Maker--Many new musicians sometimes turn to their mobile devices for assistance. When that happens, many of them turn to GarageBand. It's strikingly close to the original--you can play instruments, piece together loops, record audio, have "jam sessions", and more. In order to discover all the amazing features, you'll need to get this app for yourself! It costs about $5, but it's worth every penny, you won't be dissapointed!
